The Wildfire Ministry of Kenya (WMK) is a Christ centered ministry which aims to equip and train the unreached Pokot community for a lifestyle of Christ-centered service. The ministry theme is: “To gather, grow and give”.WMK is a ministry of Youth With a Mission ( YWAM ) Athiriver (www.ywamathiriver.org ) and therefore adheres to the principles and values of YWAM international. The ministry intends to teach more about who God is, His character, His nature, and His ways.
West Pokot is a beautiful, diverse region with many opportunities to show God’s love. There are number of ways you can get involved with WMK. We provide a range of targeted programs to address the issues affecting the Pokot community. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve finished university and are looking to kick start your career or are still at school and seeking some real world experience. We are a thriving ministry, dedicated to be a model of Christ’s love and his never ending fellowship. We have a program for everyone of you. We also welcome anyone with suggestions or input .
